Musicscape is an experiment in audio visualization that takes viewers through a constructed 3d landscape.
Musicscape was my first project from a class I took in the Spring of 2012 called Space. The project explores aural space, and how sounds can be interpereted as a visual landscape.
The Processing sketch, which is compatible with any song, generates a 3d environment based off waveform patterns of the song live as it plays. The user is given control to explore the space and fly through with the arrow keys and roll left and right as if they were piloting a plane.
